Join us this Bank Holiday Saturday, as the Armed Forces showcase the very best of all three services: the Army, Navy and Airforce.
Be greeted with a warm welcome to Haydock Park as the military bands perform for your arrival. Visit the military village, located in the Be Friendly enclosure, with a whole host of things to see including tanks and military machinery. Use the hashtag #HorsesforForces on the day and share your experience on the big screens across the site.
Course-side, the Sea Cadets will be running a log race around the final furlong on the track so you can see their stamina and strength, whilst the Red Devils will be parachuting over the track, during racing, in a spectacular display*
Alongside the military will be the BCS Pony Club, giving our younger visitors a flavour of pony racing. Meet a real-life racehorse and take a bitesize lesson at ‘Jockey School’. Discover the equipment used by jockeys and horses in a race and then design your own racing silks to be in with a chance of winning a personalised QIPCO British Champions Series jacket!
For those wanting live music, find a seat on the Makerfield Lawn and be entertained by our house band, The Sound who will be performing throughout the afternoon and for an hour after racing.
Of course, there will be quality racing from the track, as the Temple Stakes, one of the most premium Saturday racing fixtures at Haydock Park, is run once again.
*Parachute jump is subject to weather conditions and may be cancelled.
